    First edition of Bold Turpin A Romance as Sung by Sam Weller in the original publisher's quarter cloth binding.

    Very scarce only found in four libraries. 

    With illustrations by 'L. D. L.'

    A lovely children's book with colour illustrations and song verse and rhyme from the early twentieth century.

    Prior owner's book plate to the front pastedown.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The boards are slightly worn and faded. The hinges are starting but firm. Prior owner's book plate to the front pastedown. Internally, generally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
