Everett-Green wrote over three-hundred and fifty books during her life, including historical fiction, romance novels, and pious stories for children. Prize label to the front pastedown, 'Dagnall Park School, South Norwood. Presented to Eva Banks VI French, Flora Helena Tait, Principal, Christmas 1907'. Collated, complete.

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Some light fading to the spine. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A couple of light marks to the boards. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Plates facing pages 125 and 292 are detached but present.
