From British social researcher, Elizabeth Leigh Hutchins, who joined the Women's Industrial Council in 1899 and championed laws protecting women's working conditions.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. With light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. A few marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting and a few spots to the endpapers. Small contemporary ink inscription to the front free endpaper.
