Present here are the Henry Frowde and Oxford University press 'World's Classics Series' of: 'Agnes Grey' (1907) and 'The Tennant of Wildfell Hall' (1906) by Anne Bronte; 'Jane Eyre' (1903), 'The Professor and Other Poems' (1906), 'Villette' (1903) and 'Shirley' (1903) by Charlotte Bronte, and 'Wuthering Heights' (1903) by Emily Bronte.
A smart and uncommon set of the works of the Bronte's.
With publisher's advertisements to the rear of three volumes.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth bindings, with paper spine labels. Significant fading to back strips, with spine labels age toned. Small loss to head of 'Wuthering Heights' label, and half of 'Villette' label lacking. Spotting to fore edge of text block. Front hinges of 'Villette' and 'The Professor' strained, but firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Instances of spotting, most concentrated to first and last few leaves of each volume, but with further instances of light spotting throughout.
