The complete works of William Shakespeare, an English playwright, poet and actor widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. Edited with a glossary by William James Craig, an editor of Shakespeare's plays who produced the first Oxford Shakespeare for the Oxford University Press. Volumes one, two, three, nine, and eleven contain four of the plays. Volumes four, five, six, seven, eight, and ten contain three of the plays. Volume twelve contains poems and sonnets, with a detailed glossary.
Condition
In the original full crushed morocco binding. Externally, very smart with minor rubbing to the extremities. Very light fading to the spine. Small splits to the head and tail of the spine of volume two. Original cloth covered slip case is in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
