Charlotte Anne Law, often known as Lota Law, and Hugh Alexander Law, an Irish nationalist politician, hosted a number of important literary figures at the Law family home, Marble Hill House in Donegal, including W. B. and Jack Yeats, P.H. Pearse, William Orpen, G.K. Chesterton, George William Russell and Hilaire Belloc.
