Written by James Mackenzie, an important cardiologist known for his pioneering work regarding cardiac arrhythmias; he was knighted by King George V in 1915 for his contribution to the field.

This was Mackenzie's debut work on the subject.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with some bumping to the head of the spine. Pencil inscription to the front pastedown. Internally, generally firmly bound, with some straining to the front hinge after the front endpaper. Pages are bright and clean.
