With portrait frontispiece. Dated from the British Library. A collection of poetry including: The Princess, In Memoriam, Maud, Idylls of the King, Enoch Arden. Written by Alfred Tennyson, an English poet who was laureate during much of Queen Victoria's reign.
Condition
Bound in quarter vellum with green cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. The odd mark to the board. Light discolouration to the vellum as is typical with age. Front hinge tender but still reasonably firm. Internally, Firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
