The first edition of this work, in the scarce unclipped publisher's original dust wrapper. Collated, complete.
Robertson presents ten songs and six dances, each accompanied by vignette colour illustrations.
Robertson has hand lettered both the text and music.
The work of British painter, illustrator and author W. Graham Robertson, remembered for the portrait created of him by John Singer Sargent in 1894.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth backed pictorial paper covered boards, with unclipped dust wrapper. Discolouration to back strip, most concentrated to head and tail. Small losses of cloth to head and tail of back strip. Boards bright. Dust wrapper lacking back strip, with front and rear wraps separated. Two significant losses to head of front wrap. Chipping and closed tears to perimeters of dust wrapper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean, with instances of light spotting.
