This equestrian work was written by James Fillis, a French horseman and riding master. This work provides a guide to horse riding, covering how to saddle and mount a horse, and a range of actions such as the demi-volte, canter and clearing a fence, and much more.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with a slight lean, bumping and slight rubbing to the extremities, and minor marks to the boards. Spotting and offsetting to the endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound with strain in places. Pages generally bright with the odds spot throughout, heavier to the front and rear.
