Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce
A very scarce work. A presentation copy, with a label to the front pastedown, 'To Georgiana Lynn from S. Hyde Turner'. A charming children's poetry book, teaching the alphabet through humorous poems. Illustrated with a frontispiece, and many illustrations. Written by Mabel Stewart and S. Hyde Turner. Prior owner's ink inscription to the head of the title page.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Light marks to the boards and spine. Hinges are starting but firm. Front endpaper and frontispiece is detached but present. Presentation label to the front pastedown. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some spots.
