One of Harriet Anne de Salis' popular cookery works, this volume following on from her more specific publications that focused solely on one theme of food.

Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, fifteen colour plates, and eight monochrome plates.

Collated, bound without pages 119 to 122 and plate XVII.

Forty pages of publisher's adverts to the rear.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Spine is a little discoloured. Minor marks to the boards and spine. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean.
