    Illustrated, Leather Binding

    All issues are from 1901, from January to June, being Volume XXXVI Numbers One to Six. 

    'The Messenger of the Sacred Heart of Jesus' is a prominent Roman Catholic periodical.

    Illustrated throughout.

    Bound without a title page.

    Condition

    In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Light rubbing to the boards and spine. Evidence of a label being formerly adhered to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bond. Pages are bright and clean with just a couple of light marks. Small chip to the head of the first leaf.
