His feminism was a vigorous body of thought that won the praise of his contemporaries in the women's movement. His writings have recently been noted for pioneering the historical consideration of feminism. With Ronald Lindsay's armorial nameplate on the front pastedown.

    Condition

    In a quarter calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with the occasional spot,l mostly to the first and last few pages.
