    Label of the Libraire Alain Brieux to the front paste down. Alain Brieux is a popular bookshop in Paris, selling only old science and medicine books.

    Condition

    In a quarter calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, smart. Spine and joints are a little faded. Light rubbing to the boards and spine. Hinges are starting but firm. Bookseller's label to the front paste down. Bookplate and prior owner's pencil notes to the verso to the front endpaper, prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a touch age-toned and clean. Prior owner's ink inscription to the half-title.
