Globe edition of this work, reprinted from the 1864 edition, printed on thin paper. Containing the works of William Shakespeare, featuring his most celebrated plays including 'The Tempest,' 'Much Ado about Nothing,' and 'A Midsummer's Night Dream' among others. Edited by William George Clark and William Aldis Wright.

In a beautiful full calf binding, prize binding from the Mathematical School of Rochester, with bookplate pasted upside-down to recto pastedown.

Condition

Rebound in full calf with five raised bands, intricate gilt tooling to spine, gilt blind stamp to front board, gilt to edges. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, boards only lightly marked. Internally, firmly bound. Odd spotting to first few leaves, otherwise pages bright and clean.
