The first edition of this publication.

With the cards of 'Mr Paul Blatchford' and 'Mrs Paul Blatchford' loosely inserted. Paul was the great-grandson of Samuel Blatchford and Alicia Windeaett, who emigrated from Devonshire in 1795. He was also once the treasurer of the 'General Society of Mayflower Descendants'. 

An informative study of the Illinois descendants meetings, members, and addresses. 

Illustrated, with several plates.

A very scarce work, in a lovely full morocco binding.

Condition

In a full morocco binding. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the extremities and to the joints. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
