    First Edition, Leather Binding, Signed Binding

    Bound by Hatchards.

    Lord Rosebery's biography on his hero, Napoleon, an interesting biography in which Rosebery also takes the liberty of criticising biographical attempts that came before his.

    Rosebery was a Liberal politician, who served as the Prime Minister from March 1894 to June 1895. 

    Bookplate of Sir William Eden to the front paste down.

    Condition

    In a half calf binding with cloth to the boards, bound by Hatchards. Externally generally smart. Patch of loss to the tail of the front joint, with a small amount of loss to the leather on the rear board too. A small match of lifting to the cloth to the front joint. A few minor marks to the boards and spine. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Bookplate to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
