The limited first edition of this pleasant account of George J. Pinwell, a British illustrator and watercolourist whose works were known for being vivid, imperfect, but true to life. 

Only 350 copies of this work were printed.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. 

The work is richly illustrated throughout with Pinwell's works, including a frontispiece and fifty-one lovely monochrome plates. Collated, complete. 

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. With rubbing and bumping to the extremities and marks to the boards. Slight sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with scattered spotting to the first and last few leaves. Offsetting to the endpapers.
