Bookplate to the front pastedown, which is blank. Prior owner's bookplate to the recto of front endpaper, Thomas W Daltry. Second bookplate for the Daltry Library to the verso of front endpaper.

Illustrated, with twenty-seven coloured plates and numerous in-text black and white illustrations.

A wonderful study of British dragonflies, with bright colourful illustrations.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Patches of light rubbing to the joints and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
