c1900 About Furs
What Our Customers Say...
Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce
Written by George R Cripps, an author who had previously written tracts on dying of Seal Skins. This work is to appeal to people that wear furs, who wish to know where their furs come from, and the manner they are dealt with before they purchase them. Cripps was a furrier based on Bold Street in Liverpool, where this work was published. With a folding map to the frontispiece. In original paper wraps. Undated, dated using jisc copy held at the University of Cambridge libraries.
In the original paper wraps. Externally, generally smart with light chipping to the extremities. Tape repairs to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Scattered spots to the first and last few pages. Otherwise, just the odd spot.
