Two volumes of bound pamphlets of catalogues of The Wallace Collection. 

The Wallace Collection consists of paintings, water colours, miniatures, illuminations, bronzes, armour and arms, furniture and other objects of interest. 

The first volume contains two pamphlets bound in one detailing the first and second editions of the Provisional Catalogue of the oil paintings and water colours in The Wallace Collection with short notices of the painters, by authority of the trustees at Hertford House. With a folding plan of the Wallace Collection at Hertford House to the front of the volume. The second edition being published in 1901. 

The second volume contains a Catalogue of the European Armour and arms in the Wallace Collection at Hertford House, in its second edition published in 1901, by Guy Francis Laking, also with a folding plan of the Wallace Collection at Hertford House.

Condition

Both bound in half morocco leather with marbled boards. Externally, very smart with some rubbing to the spine and extremities and light marks to the boards. Library stamp to both front free endpapers. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
