Compiled by Mark Twain, pen name of Samuel Langhorne Clemens, as well as William Dean Howells and Charles Hopkins Clark.

Profusely illustrated throughout by E. W. Kemble.

Condition

In half calf binding with marbled boards and edges. Externally smart with slight shelfwear and edge wear as well as rubbing to the spine, with the gilt to the spine is still slightly visible. Minor bumping to the extremities. Previous owner's inscription to the front blank page, dated 1908. Internally, firmly bound. The odd faint scattered spotting to the occasional leaf. Profusely illustrated throughout with amusing decorations by E. W. Kemble.
