Externally, generally smart with fading to the spine, rubbing to the extremities and joints, wear and small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine, a slight lean, and marks to the boards. Front hinge tender, rear hinge tender after the last index page. Internally, the first page of the index disbound but present, otherwise generally firmly bound with lightly age toned and generally clean pages with the odd handling mark only.
