Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

Containing a collection of eight short stories. With an etched frontispiece titled 'A View in "Melchester"' by H. Macbeth-Rathburn, and a map of Wessex to the rear. Scarce.

Condition

In a full cloth binding with gilt titling to spine and motif to front board. Externally, a trifle rubbed. Some marks to boards and bumping and light wear to backstrip and extremities. Hinges rather strained. Internally, binding strained and tender in places. Pages are clean and bright.
