Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally sound with minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Evidence of the removal of a sticker to the front free endpaper. Previous ownership inscription to the half title, dated 1898 and 1962. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are generally clean throughout with some age toning, as usual. Illustrated with numerous plates, as well as a folding map and plan. Plate facing p. 72 loose but present.
