Jane Austen has become one of the most popular Georgian writers, her novels being loved for generations. Her ironic social commentary offers an interesting insight into Upper-Middle class Georgian life.

In a half morocco binding with cloth to the boards, bound by Hatchards. Externally, smart. Minor marks to the boards and spinea. Light rubbing to the spines. Minor bumping to the extremities. Bookplate to the front paste downs. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with scattered spots to the first and last few pages.
