Written by Sir Frederick Pollock, an English jurist best known for this work and his lifelong correspondence with US Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, and Frederic William Maitland, an English historian and lawyer who is regarded as the modern father of English legal history.

Condition

In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Joints are starting but firm with minor loss to the head and tail of each spine. The odd mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd annotation. Light age toning to the endpapers.
