G. A. Henty was an English novelist and war correspondent from the mid to late nineteenth century. He is well renowned for his work of adventure and historical fiction.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities resulting in some slight wear to the cloth in these areas. The front hinge is strained. Prior owner's ink inscription to the first free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot throughout and some spotting to the endpapers.
