First published in 1888, this is an anthology of short works compiled by Langhorn Clemens, William Dean Howells and Charles Hopkins Clark under the pseudonym of Mark Twain.
Mark Twain was the penname of Samuel Langhorn Clemens (1835-1910), an American writer and humorist whose novels include 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer' and 'The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn'. He was deemed the 'father of American literature' by William Faulkner.

Condition
In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages have the odd spot, but are otherwise bright and clean.
