First edition. Dated from the University of Glasgow Library. Illustrated throughout with many in-text sketches. A collection of recipes and tips for cooking, with special attention to using a gas oven or hob. Includes lined pages for the reader's own notes and recipes. Written by Miss Lillie Richmond, a first class diplomee of the North Midland School of Cookery. Publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, smart with light bumping and rubbing to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark.
