Illustrated with page illustrations by Harry Furniss, known for collaborating with Lewis Carroll on Sylvie and Bruno, and vignette illustrations by Dorothy Furniss, henry's teenage daughter at the time.
Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding, gilt illustrations to front board, gilt to edges. Externally smart with minor shelf wear, spine and boards lightly bumped to extremities. Internally, binding lightly tender in places. Few minor spots scattered to the occasional leaf, although pages appear generally bright and clean. With illustrations by Harry and Dorothy Furniss.
