First edition, printed on handmade paper and limited to 150 copies. With an engraving of an old sea-dog to title page.

Condition

In publisher's original cloth-covered binding with gilt illustration to front board. Externally, evidence of past worming and splitting to front joint. Wear and bumping to head and tail of spine with slight lifting to backstrip. Slight evidence of past worming to front hinge. Internally, firmly bound, generally bright and clean except for slight age-toning to free endpapers and the odd small spot and handling mark.
