The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, typically known as the Inner Temple, is one of the four Inns of Court in London, founded in the fourteenth century. To be called to the Bar and practise as a barrister in England and Wales, an individual must belong to one of these Inns.
This historical study surrounds the early history of the Inner Temple, as illustrated by the organisation's records from the years between 1505 and 1603.
With seven illustrations and a frontispiece. Collated, complete.
Condition

Slight rubbing to the head and tail of the spine, with the odd mark. Hinges are slightly strained, with cords visible to the front. Light marking to the fore edge, with small object adhered to the fore edge at the head of the front board, causing pages to join slightly in this area. Internally, firmly bound.
