What Our Customers Say...

Description

Folding Plates, Illustrated, Original Binding, Very Scarce

A very scarce work, in the publisher's wraps.

Undated, dated from the '96' scribed on the illustration as well as a very similar work under the same publisher.

This is an impressive folding illustration that offers a panorama view of what can be seen from Stirling Castle in Scotland, specifically from the Victoria look-out in Douglas Garden.

The illustration labels the various mountains, peaks and rivers that can be seen.

The illustration on the rear of the wrap also has a bird's eye plan of the castle, as well as a list of publisher's advertisements.

Condition

In the publisher's wraps. Externally, generally smart with scattered spotting to the wrap and slight edge wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean. Inner wrap has scattered spotting. Odd spotting to the verso of the first fold of the illustration which shows through, however the rest of the illustration is clean.
