1896 In Castle and Cottage of the Two Christmas Boxes
What Our Customers Say...
Description
Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce
A very scarce work. This work is a pamphlet intended to assist in the building of the 'In Castle and Cottage' Christmas boxes by Anchor Stone Blocks. Anchor Stone Blocks is a brand of stone construction sets made in Germany. They weren't hugely popular in 1880, when F. Ritcher purchased the rights for them, and produced a series of individually-packaged stone sets. It includes a charming story about Christmas at the castle and cottage, customer reviews, prices of the original and supplemental boxes, as well as handy answers to common questions. With a coloured frontispiece, and a further five coloured plates. Undated, dated using Copac, as there is one copy of this work held at the Legal Deposit Library, Cambridge.
