    The first edition of this uncommon travel journal by Anthony Wilkin. 

    In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding. 

    Anthony Wilkin was a British anthropologist, archaeologist and gifted photographer. This book offers vivid stories of his travels along the Nile, adorned with 111 illustrations of photographs taken by the author. 

    Including a frontispiece and seven monochrome plates. Collated, complete.

    Condition

    In the original quarter cloth binding. Externally, smart with moderate rubbing and bumping to the spine head and tail. Marks to the board. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages. Light spotting to the first and last few leaves.
