A detailed commentary on the history and monuments of Rhodesia, with chapters on Phoenicia, Arabia, and Portugal. Written by the Honorable Alexander Wilmot, a British historian and author. With a preface from Sir Henry Rider Haggard, an English writer of adventure fiction romances set in exotic locations and a pioneer of the lost world literary genre.

Condition

In the original full blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Light age toning to the endpapers and the odd handling mark to the first and last few pages. Library stamps to the front endpaper and title page.
