First Edition, Illustrated, Signed
Comprising twenty plates total, each with a leaf comprising a short description. Signed by the author to the half-title, addressed to 'ma chere petite amie Marguerite'.
In the original French.
Etienne Moreau-Nelaton's painting style was influenced by Manet and Morisot. Much of his larger paintings are in the collection of the Musee d'Orsay.
A very scarce work, even more so as signed by the artist.
Condition
In the original paper covered boards. Externally, very smart. A few light tidemarks to the front and rear boards. Light shelfwear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Author's inscription to the half-title. Occasional light spots to pages.
