With advertisements to the rear of the work. The second edition of the work. Very scarce in any edition. First published in 1891. Profusely illustrated throughout with many demonstrative plates and vignette illustrations. A charming work, detailing the skill of patisserie piping, demonstrating a number of techniques, including piping styles, almond icing and detailed guides to the equipment required.

Condition

In the original pictorial boards. Externally smart with bumping to the extremities. Marks to the boards. Front hinge slightly strained but firm. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with marginal age toning and just the odd spot.
