    Edited by Matthew Arnold, including a lengthy preface. 

    The first edition thus, fourth impression of this work.

    Containing the bookplate of nineteenth and twentieth century British explorer and sportsman, Sir Philip Brocklehurst.

    Condition

    In full calf binding. Externally, smart, with some light shelf wear to the boards. Slight darkening and rubbing to the spine. Containing the bookplate of Sir Philip Brocklehurst to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
