A guide book around Brussels and its surroundings, souvenir from the 'Hotel Belle Vue et Flandre' edited by the owner Edouard Dremel, the sixteenth edition of 1895. With historical notes on the city and a day-by-day itinerary from laid out from morning to evening. In the original French printed in double column with accompanying English translation.
Illustrated with engravings in text and twenty-six full page plates, as well as plans and a large folding colour map printed to verso and recto to the rear in excellent state with no closed tears.
Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally with minor shelf wear, spine and boards lightly bumped to extremities, minor chipping to head and tail of spine, light fading to spine. Back strip now laid down. inscribed to contents leaf, dated 18976. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean throughout. Illustrated with engravings in text and numerous full page plates, with an excellent large folding map in colour to the rear.
