Written by Edward Frederick Knight, an English barrister, soldier, journalist, and author. His written works are mainly based on his dispatches as a war correspondent.
Condition
In the original half green cloth with grey paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Light fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Light scattered spotting to the first and last few pages with light age toning to the endpapers. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
