A thorough work with insights overlooking first the land as a whole and then Western and Eastern Palestine in particular.

With some fascinating appendices to the rear, looking at some geographical passages and terms of the Old Testament, Stade's theory of Israel's Invasion of Western Palestine, the wars against Sihon and OG, and more.

Illustrated with six maps, four folding and coloured, lacking the general map of Palestine, with the map of the Semitic World wrongly bound in as frontispiece. internally the volume is in excellent condition.
