In the publisher's original cloth. 

Illustrated with monochrome frontispieces to all, and monochrome figures and vignettes to 'Volume 16', monochrome figures, three photogravures plates, and 21 plates including four in colour to 'Volume 1', monochrome vignettes to 'Volume 4', a monochrome plate to 'Volume 12', seventeen plates including one in colour to 'Volume 22', and twelve monochrome plates to 'Volume 19'.

An eight volume set, complete in twenty-six volumes. Volume one of 'The Stones of Venice' only, complete in three. Otherwise complete in themselves. 

This collection features a collection of works by John Ruskin, an English writer, philosopher and art historian. The volumes cover architecture, art, drawing, painting, and more.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally excellent with fading to the spine and to the boards to the odd volume, and the odd mark to the boards. Age toning to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with clean and age toned pages. The odd closed tear to the pages with a 3 inch closed tear to pp.27-30.
