This suite is one of 650 copies designed by Crane and engraved in Dallastype facsimile by Duncan C Dallas. This suite is numbered 61. Dallastype is a process coined by Duncan C Dallas, and it was a method he established over forty years.

Walter Crane is considered to be one of the the most prolific and influential artists of his generation. Remembered for his contributions to children's literature alongside the likes of Randolph Caldecott and Kate Greenaway. A core part of the Arts and Crafts movement, he worked across several media.
A beautiful example of Walter Crane's talents as an artist.
Condition
In the publisher's original box. With the plates loosely inserted as called for. Externally, smart, with the cloth cockled to the front board. Cloth is lifting to the rear board. Some minor splits at the head and tail of joints. Plates are bright with the occasional light spots.
