Archibald Forbes was a nineteenth century Scottish war correspondent.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, resulting in some slight wear to the cloth in these areas. The front hinge is starting but firm. The first free endpapers are working loose. Internally, generally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
