The first edition of this uncommon work in the publisher's original half cloth binding with paper boards.
An informative record of the development of the streets and buildings of Bath up until the late nineteenth century. This work was written by the antiquary Robert Edward Myhill Peach (1876-1896), who wrote many works on the history and antiquities of Bath, including Bath, Old and New and Historic Houses in Bath, and their Associations. An appendix of local delicacies, such as the Bath Bun, is included to the rear.
Four pages of advertisements to the front of the work and fifteen pages of advertisements to the rear.
Condition
In the publisher's original half cloth binding with paper boards. Externally, generally smart, with faint marks to the boards. A little fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
