Jerome Klapka Jerome was an English writer and humourist best known for his comic travelogue Three Men in a Boat published in 1889.

This is a first edition copy of one of Klapka's later novels that is extensively illustrated throughout the text and with a frontispiece. 

There are nine pages of publisher's adverts to the rear.
Collated, complete.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally generally very smart. A few light marks to the boards. The spine has some bumping. Internally, generally firmly bound with bright clean pages.
