Lord Macaulay is also known as the 1st baron of Macaulay and was a historian and politician during the start of Queen Victoria's reign. His father Zachary Macaulay was a colonial governor and abolitionist. Lord Macaulay also contributed to the Edinburgh Review with his essay writing.

In a full tree calf binding by Bumpus. Externally, smart. Light rubbing to the spine. Head of the boards are a little faded. A few light marks to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some spots.
